  • Calgary Stampede Showband

    The Calgary Stampede Showband was created in 1971 to serve as the musical ambassadors for the Calgary Stampede. The group features over 140 performers between the ages of 16 and 21. Together, we perform year-round and make over 200 appearances annually, including concerts, parades, competitions, special events, and complex marching field shows. We are proud promoters of western heritage and values and are committed to a high level of innovative performance art.

    Welcome to the Our Lady of the Rockies Marching Band website page. We are one of Canada’s last High School Bands, based here in Calgary, AB, Canada. Our program has been in operation since 1986 and has grown to include 110 members made up of Brass, Woodwind, Percussion and Colour Guard. In addition we also have a Concert Band, Jazz Band, Winterguard and Percussion Ensembles.
