January 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM Winter Guards, 2:00PM Winter Winds and Percussion.
Large equipment can go through the North Aux Gym doors. All other equipment should go through the West exit. Equipment and floors will need to be stored along a designated spot in the main hallway. Groups are encouraged to arrive anytime after 8:30 AM.
The schedule allows for a 30 minute warm up in one of the Aux Gyms. Please be respectful of space, and noise levels while performances are underway.
NEW in 2026: Dedicated AMAA Logistics staff will monitor performance space and warm-ups to ensure smooth flow between spaces. Please keep eyes up for queues from these folks.
Winter Kick-Off Exclusive: Following each performance, performers and staff will receive a critique and clinic from one of the day’s amazing adjudicators. Total performance and clinic time is 15 minutes
There is NO Retreat at this event.
Groups are encouraged to watch performances and clinics - no wristbands required for spectator seats.

Timing Line & Floors
Guards: are to follow the vertical timing line - audience right to left.
Percussion & Winds: are to follow the horizontal timing line - back to front.
Please ensure that your floor is ready to unfold accordingly.
Floors may be quickly folded in the performance area, provided that doing so will not slow the show.
Schedules
Note: Schedule is subject to changes. AMAA website links are the one true source for information.
Warm Ups
Note: IT IS CRITICAL THAT GROUPS DO NOT ENTER THE WARM UP SPACE PRIOR TO THEIR DESIGNATED TIME. This is in the interest of everyone's safety by reducing the chaos in the space. GROUPS THAT VIOLATE THIS MAY BE DISQUALIFIED AND/OR HAVE PRIVILEGES REVOKED AT FUTURE EVENTS.
Performers with Multiple Groups
It’s very exciting that our community offers multiple opportunities for members to perform! Although AMAA has tried to separate groups with shared members in the performance order, we know that it will be a rush for those members.
Quick Changes can occur in the storage classrooms or in the washrooms
Groups should NOT cross the timing line until all members are in the performance gym
MC script has lots of content to share - be sure to take a breath and get into the zone
Any day-of concerns can be shared with the AMAA Logistical Liaisons Kareen, Sam, Bonnie or Grace upon arrival on-site.
Sound & Script
Performance Music needs to be uploaded via CompetitionSuite
Script Spiels can be updated with the Mid-Season Change Form
Updates to music and spiels no later than Friday, January 23
